The Women for Greater Good Foundation (WGGF) has distributed 1,500 free copies of Empowered Flow: The Girl Child Guide to Understanding Her Body and Owning Her Story to female students in three secondary schools in Saki, Oyo State, as part of activities marking the 2026 International Day of the Girl Child.
The distribution exercise, held on October 20, 2026, covered Command Science Secondary School, Baptist High School, Saki, and Ansarul Deen Grammar School, Saki.
The initiative underscores the Foundation’s commitment to promoting girl-child education, menstrual health awareness, self-confidence, and the empowerment of young girls through access to essential knowledge.
WGGF specially acknowledged and expressed its appreciation to Col. Gbenga Adegbola for his generous donation and sponsorship, which made the initiative possible.

The Foundation described his contribution as a demonstration of the positive impact that individual commitment and support can have on the lives of young girls, particularly in helping them access the knowledge and resources needed to build a brighter future.
Through programmes such as the Flow With Dignity School Tour and the distribution of Empowered Flow, WGGF continues to educate and empower girls to understand their bodies, protect their dignity, build self-confidence, and take ownership of their wellbeing.
The Foundation reiterated its commitment to ensuring that every girl has access to the knowledge, support, and opportunities she needs to thrive, while encouraging more individuals and organisations to support initiatives that advance the welfare and development of the girl child.
WGGF expressed optimism that the books would serve as valuable educational resources for the beneficiaries, equipping them with relevant information to navigate adolescence with confidence, dignity, and a stronger sense of self-worth.
