Mogaji Ademola Oladosu, popularly known as Mogaji Olasomi, has called on market women and traders across Oyo State to support Princess Folashade Abeo, the newly emerged Iyaloja-General, and other market leaders to promote unity, peace and development in the state.
Oladosu also urged traders to support Y.K. Abass as Babalọjà-General of Oyo State, S.T. Jimoh as Aare Oloja of Oyo State, J.T. Raimi as Asiwaju Oloja of Oyo State, and Princess Folashade Azeezat Nurudeen as Iyaloja of Oyo State.
He described the emergence of the Iyaloja-General as a historic milestone, congratulating Governor Seyi Makinde and the people of Oyo State on what he described as the emergence of the first Iyaloja-General in the history of the state.
The Mogaji urged market women, particularly leaders of various market associations, to embrace the development and work collectively with the new Iyaloja-General to promote unity, peace and progress in markets across Oyo State.

He cautioned individuals allegedly fuelling division among market leaders to be mindful of their utterances and activities, warning that actions capable of creating disunity could undermine the progress and effective administration of market associations.
Oladosu stressed the need for market leaders to prioritise the collective interests of traders over personal differences, noting that cooperation and mutual understanding were essential to building a united, peaceful and well-organised market community.
He further called on market stakeholders to focus on initiatives that would improve traders’ welfare, strengthen market administration and contribute to the economic development of Oyo State.
The Mogaji expressed appreciation to Governor Makinde for his role in the development, noting that the emergence of the Iyaloja-General presents an opportunity to strengthen the representation of market women and traders across the state.
He urged all stakeholders to rally behind Princess Abeo and the other market leaders, expressing optimism that their collective efforts would promote harmony, improve the welfare of traders and strengthen commercial activities across Oyo State.
Oladosu concluded by emphasising that the success of the new market leadership would depend on the cooperation and support of traders, market associations and other stakeholders working towards a common goal of peace, unity and sustainable development.
