Lagelu LG Chairman Congratulates Akinwale (Wolekanle) on Appointment as Chief of Staff to Oyo Governor

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole (Wolekanle), on his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

In a statement issued on Monday, Hon. Kamorudeen described the appointment as a worthy recognition of Akinwole’s longstanding contributions to grassroots politics and public service in Oyo State. He noted that Akinwole, who previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, has consistently demonstrated competence, loyalty, and a deep commitment to the development of the state.

“I heartily congratulate Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole (Wolekanle) on his well-merited appointment as Chief of Staff to His Excellency, the Governor of Oyo State,” Hon. Kamorudeen said. “This elevation is basically a testament to his dedication, experience, and capacity to deliver results. I am confident that he will bring the same energy, integrity, and grassroots understanding that defined his previous roles into this new assignment.”

Governor Seyi Makinde appointed Akinwole as Chief of Staff with immediate effect on Monday, following the resignation of the previous occupant of the office.
