*Ibarapa Central Secures Approval for Eruwa–Idere Electricity Line.*

The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Ayodele, has announced that the council has secured approval to rehabilitate the electricity line from Eruwa to Idere, raising hopes for improved electricity supply across the affected communities.

Adeleke made the announcement during his welcome address at the grand finale of the 2026 Igboora World Twins Festival, assuring residents that efforts are underway to address the longstanding electricity challenge.

The chairman also appealed to the Oyo State Government for continued intervention in road infrastructure and security to accelerate development in Ibarapa Central.
