Ibadan North West Chairmanship candidate, Hon Ganiy Omotosho Takes Swift Action on Government School Environmental Challenge

The Political Head/Administrator of Oke’badan North LCDA and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Chairmanship Candidate for Ibadan North-West Local Government, Hon. Ganiy Abiodun Omotosho, has intervened to address an environmental challenge affecting Eleyele High School, Polo Area, Eleyele, Ibadan, following an appeal from the school management.

The intervention followed a consultation with the school principal, Mrs. Abass Bolanle Khadijat, who brought to Hon. Omotosho’s attention a serious termite infestation affecting the school environment and some parts of its buildings.

According to the school management, the infestation had become a major concern, with fears that the continued presence of termites could contribute to the deterioration and cracking of sections of the school structure.

Responding promptly to the appeal, Hon. Omotosho provided the necessary facilities for the fumigation exercise to enable the school environment to be treated against the termite menace.

The intervention, according to those familiar with his activities, reflects his interest in issues relating to environmental sanitation, education and community welfare.

His swift response is expected to contribute to providing a safer and healthier learning environment for students and staff of the school.

The school principal and management expressed their appreciation to Hon. Ganiy Omotosho for his prompt intervention, describing the gesture as a demonstration of his concern for education, environmental safety and the wellbeing of students and staff.

The intervention also comes amid commendations for the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde over its stated emphasis on education, environmental sustainability and public welfare.
