HON. (MRS.) TOYIN BALOGUN CONGRATULATES SEUN ADELORE ON NEW APPOINTMENT

Hon. (Mrs.) Toyin Balogun has extended her heartfelt congratulations to her dear brother, Barrister Seun Adelore, former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and Chairman of the Association of Local Government Chairmen, on his appointment as Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.

In a congratulatory message, Hon. Balogun described the appointment as another example of what she called a “round peg in a round hole,” commending the Governor for recognising Adelore’s wealth of experience and grassroots knowledge.

She expressed confidence that Barrister Adelore would bring his extensive experience in managing the complexities of local government administration to bear in his new role, particularly as he works closely with the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.

According to her, the combination of Adelore’s grassroots experience and that of the Commissioner, whom she fondly described as “Ijaya and Oko Arugbo,” would inject further dynamism into the administration and development of local governments across the state.

She added that Adelore’s background and understanding of grassroots governance would be valuable to the administration as it continues to strengthen the local government system.

“Once again, congratulations, my dear brother. I wish you the very best in your new assignment and pray for a successful tenure,” she said.
