Engr. Salako Aderoju Oladayo has been picked as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Oyo State.

Born on the 3rd of August, 1979, he hails from Ile Ago Compound, Saki, in Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State.

He is a seasoned Civil Engineer, a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, where he earned his B.Tech (Hons) in Civil Engineering, and a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

With nearly two decades of professional practice, Engr. Salako has built a solid reputation as a builder of both men and infrastructure. From his early days as Site Engineer with reputable firms in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja, to his role as Project Manager overseeing major housing estates, roads, drainages and commercial developments, his career reflects competence, integrity and delivery.

He supervised the dualization of Saki Township Road, the construction of the Ogbese River Bridge linking Ondo and Edo States, bus terminals in Lagos, and numerous housing and rehabilitation projects across Oyo State, including the renovation of the Olubadan Palace in Ibadan.

Beyond his professional competence, Engr. Salako brings the strategic advantage of youth to the joint ticket. As a vibrant and dynamic young leader, he connects naturally with the youth constituency, the largest voting bloc, and brings fresh energy, innovation, and digital-age thinking to the campaign. On the ticket, he balances experience with youthfulness, grassroots appeal with professionalism, and Oke-Ogun representation with statewide acceptability.
