Oyo ADC Guber Candidate, Adegoke Vows To Provide Rural Electrification, Security Enhancement In Ibarapa

The Oyo state governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC), Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke (FCA) has promised the people of Ibarapa geo-politcal zone that he will end the blackout, which they have been suffering for years by ensuring rural electrification.

Adegoke who was speaking in Igbo-Ora during a Thank-You-Visit to the people of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North said when voted into office next year as the governor of Oyo state, he will provide the entire Ibarapaland with Solar farm that will generate electricity for the zone.

He disclosed that to ensure constant supply of electricity, he will take Ibarapa off the national grid that provides epileptic supply of electricity but would stabilize the area with power generated from the Solar farm.

The Oyo ADC governorship candidate said the provision of rural electrification will also enhance security, noting that the implementation of local government autonomy would lead to the empowerment of Traditional Rulers, which would help in securing their domains.

He further said he would provide farmers with modern farming equipment and high yield seeds which would result into higher produce from their farms.

Olooye Adegoke said he was trained at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife as an Agric-Economist and therefore assured farmers that he knows their needs and will provide them with the necessary resources and support immediately he assume office as the Executive Governor of Oyo State.

He maintained that farmers would also be given loans through their various Cooperative Societies, as part of the dividend of the democracy.

Speaking earlier, the ADC Youth Leader in Ibarapa Central, Mr Ayodele Olanlere requested from the ADC governorship candidate the provision of stable electricity supply and economic opportunities for the people of Ibarapa Central.

Olanrele further demands the provision of healthcare assistance as well as free education for the Youths.

He appreciated Olooye Adegoke on the promise of rural electrification, which he is optimistic of fulfilling his promise.
