The Chairman of Promise Land Community, Olosun ido local government, Mr Lawal Abdulfatai Kolawole, has commended the Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, for facilitating the provision of a borehole to the Olosun community.
Lawal described the borehole project as a significant intervention that will help address the water needs of residents and improve the quality of life within the community.
He expressed appreciation to Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for responding to the needs of the people and demonstrating what he described as responsive and people-oriented leadership.
The community chairman also declared his support for Governor Seyi Makinde in his presidential ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He further pledged his support for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidates in Oyo State, including Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi for Governor, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide Odidiomo for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA) for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, and Hon. Rafiu Omotosho (Omor) for the Ido State Constituency.
According to him, the decision is based on the need to support leaders and candidates who, in his view, are committed to grassroots development and improving the welfare of the people.
Hon. Lawal called on residents and other community stakeholders to continue supporting developmental initiatives and leaders who prioritised the needs of their communities.
He reaffirmed the readiness of Promise Land Community, Olosun, to support programmes and political efforts geared towards sustainable development and better representation ahead of the 2027 elections.
