*“Return to School With Determination, Discipline and Excellence” — Akinyele Council Boss, Hon Akinwole Akinleye, Charges Students as they resume for the 2926/27 Academic Session* .

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has warmly welcomed students across the local government back to school for the 2026/2027 academic session, urging them to approach the new academic year with renewed determination, discipline, diligence and a strong commitment to excellence.

In a message made available to the public through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, the council boss described education as one of the most important foundations for personal development, responsible citizenship and a successful future.

“I warmly welcome all our students back to school as we commence another academic session. I encourage you to see this new session as another opportunity to learn, grow, discover your potential and work towards achieving your dreams. The challenges of yesterday should not discourage you; rather, they should strengthen your determination to succeed,” Hon. Akinleye stated. He commended students and teachers for their resilience and dedication throughout the previous academic session, charging them to sustain the spirit of perseverance and hard work as they begin another year of learning.

The Akinyele Council Chairman further called on students to take their studies seriously, remain focused and make responsible choices that would positively shape their future. He also appealed to parents and guardians to provide the necessary encouragement, guidance and conducive environment for their children to excel academically, while urging teachers and education stakeholders to continue giving their best in nurturing and mentoring the younger generation.

According to him, “Success does not come by chance. It is built through discipline, consistency, hard work and the willingness to learn. I therefore urge every student in Akinyele Local Government to take advantage of every educational opportunity available to them. Ask questions, read widely, respect your teachers, stay focused and never stop believing in your ability to achieve great things.”

Hon. Akinleye also reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to supporting initiatives that contribute to the educational development and wellbeing of students across Akinyele Local Government. He encouraged students to actively participate in beneficial educational programmes and make productive use of available opportunities, noting that such investments in knowledge and character would ultimately benefit both the students and the wider community.

He concluded by wishing students, teachers, parents and the entire education community a fruitful, peaceful and successful academic session, saying, “I am confident that with determination, discipline and hard work, our students will continue to make Akinyele Local Government proud. I wish every student a rewarding academic year filled with knowledge, growth and outstanding achievements.”
