A prominent Ibadan North chieftain of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Lanre Sarumi, has felicitated with the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Dr. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, popularly known as “Ijaya,” on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message, Sarumi described the commissioner as a distinguished public servant, experienced leader and committed contributor to the development and progress of Oyo State.
He commended Hon. Ojo for his dedication to public service, particularly his contributions to strengthening grassroots administration and promoting effective governance across the state.
According to Sarumi, the commissioner’s wealth of experience, leadership qualities and commitment to the people have continued to make him an important asset to the administration and development of Oyo State.
He said, “On behalf of myself, my family and the good people of Ibadan North, I warmly celebrate with our amiable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Dr. Ademola Obafemi Ojo ‘Ijaya’, as he marks his 64th birthday.
“Your years of service have demonstrated dedication, experience and a genuine commitment to the development of our dear Oyo State. Your contributions to grassroots governance and the welfare of the people are worthy of commendation.
