The Oyo Federal Constituency APC Media Frontiers has commended the member representing Oyo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Akeem Adeyemi, popularly known as Skimeh, for his sustained commitment to infrastructure development and the successful facilitation of road projects across the constituency.
The group particularly applauded Hon. Adeyemi for facilitating the completion of the Abolupe/Onto/Baasi/Agberinde Road, describing the speed with which the project was executed as another demonstration of purposeful representation and effective follow-up.
According to the Media Frontiers, the latest project is not an isolated intervention but a continuation of Hon. Adeyemi’s remarkable record in facilitating strategic road infrastructure across communities in Oyo Federal Constituency.
Among the projects facilitated and attracted through his representation are the Boroboro–Gbenga Oyekola–Alowolodu–Oke Medina–School of Science Road, named Oba Lamidi Adeyemi (III) Road, which was commissioned on July 10, 2024.

Also commissioned on the same day was Phase One of the Oriawo Road, named Prince Ajibola Afonja Road, as well as Phase Two of the Oriawo Road leading to the Abolongo Correctional Centre.
Other important projects include the Ebu Olose–Galilee–Awe–Alaawe Palace Road, named Mafile Road in Awe Town, as well as the Kosobo –Akunlemu–Awe Road, all of which were commissioned on July 10, 2024.
The group further noted the repair of the Awe–Iwo Road, which included the construction of two bridges at Oniyere and Awusan villages, thereby improving connectivity and easing the movement of residents and goods along the axis.
Continuing his record of facilitating critical infrastructure, Hon. Adeyemi also facilitated the Fatuke/Elega Road, named Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade (I) Road, which was commissioned on April 3, 2025.
Similarly, the Alamo Road in Ilora was commissioned on April 3, 2025, further expanding the network of completed infrastructure projects facilitated for the benefit of communities within the constituency.
The Oyo Federal Constituency Media Frontiers stated that these interventions demonstrate a clear pattern of representations that goes beyond promises and political rhetoric, but one that prioritises projects capable of directly improving the lives of constituents.
The completion of the Abolupe/Onto/Baasi/Agberinde Road within a record time is therefore another significant addition to this growing record of infrastructural development.
While commending Hon. Prince Akeem Adeyemi (Skimeh) for his dedication to the development of Oyo Federal Constituency, the Media Frontiers also congratulated residents of the benefiting communities.
The group, however, emphasised that the responsibility for development does not end with the completion of a project. The Media Frontiers specifically urged residents to desist from indiscriminate dumping of refuse into drainage channels, obstruction of waterways and other activities capable of damaging road infrastructure.
Community leaders, youth organisations, market associations and residents must also work together to ensure the proper maintenance and preservation of these projects for present and future generations.
The group expressed confidence that with continued purposeful representation and effective collaboration among stakeholders, more communities within Oyo Federal Constituency will continue to benefit from meaningful and people-oriented development.
