The Chairman of Omi Apata LCDA and Chairmanship Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ido Local Government, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina, has commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the commencement of the reconstruction and asphalt laying of the Elebu Road in Ibadan.
Hon. Olayemi described the development as a welcome intervention that would improve transportation, ease the movement of residents and businesses, and contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of communities along the corridor.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Makinde for responding to the long-standing need for the rehabilitation of the road, noting that the commencement of the project demonstrates the administration’s commitment to improving road infrastructure across Oyo State.
The APM chairmanship candidate also urged residents and other stakeholders to support the government and protect public infrastructure, while assuring the people of Ido Local Government of his commitment to people-oriented leadership and sustainable development.
