The Executive Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde, Alhaji Abiodun Adekunle Isola Baruwa, has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State and his wife on their conferment of chieftaincy titles by Ibarapaland.
Governor Makinde was honoured with the title of Aare Asoludero of Ibarapaland, while his wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, was conferred with the title of Yeye Asoludero of Ibarapaland.
In a congratulatory message, Alhaji Baruwa described the titles as well deserved recognition of Governor Makinde’s commitment to the development of Oyo State, particularly the Ibarapa axis.
He noted that the conferment reflects the love, trust and appreciation of the people of Ibarapaland for the Governor’s landmark projects in infrastructure, education, health and agriculture across the zone.

“Your Excellency, this honour is a testament to your people-oriented leadership and the impact of your administration in Ibarapaland. The title of Aare Asoludero and Yeye Asoludero further cements your place as true sons and daughter of the soil,” he stated.
Alhaji Baruwa prayed that the new titles will bring more wisdom, strength and grace to Governor Makinde and his wife as they continue to serve the people of Oyo State.
He also urged the people of Ibarapaland to continue to support the Makinde-led administration in its drive to deliver good governance and sustainable development.
The conferment ceremony was attended by traditional rulers, political leaders and dignitaries from across Oyo State.
