“A Worthy Choice” — Basorun Onítàn Applauds Consensus Selection of Hon. Saheed Abimbola Oladimeji Owonifaari

Basorun Onítàn Ibadan has congratulated Hon. Saheed Abimbola Oladimeji Owonifaari on his emergence as the consensus Chairmanship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, for Ibadan South East Local Government.

In a congratulatory message, Basorun Onítàn described Hon. Owonifaari’s selection as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by party leaders, stakeholders, and the people of Ibadan South East. He said the consensus process demonstrates unity, maturity, and the readiness of APM to present credible candidates ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Oyo State.

He noted that Hon. Owonifaari has consistently shown capacity, loyalty, and commitment to grassroots development and to the ideals of the APM. According to the Basorun, his track record of service and accessibility makes him a worthy flagbearer for the party in the council.

“The emergence of Hon. Saheed Abimbola Oladimeji Owonifaari through a peaceful consensus is a good omen for Ibadan South East. It shows that when leaders put the interest of the people and the party above personal ambition, the result is unity and progress,” Basorun Onítàn stated.
