The House of Representatives candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, for Ibadan North West/Ibadan South West Federal Constituency, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has donated a substantial sum of money to the National Association of Nigerian Music Promoters.
The donation was made during a ceremony where Dr. Fagbemi was honoured with the prestigious Grand Commander of Entertainment award.
The event was held at the premises of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The ceremony attracted members of the National Association of Nigerian Music Promoters, entertainment stakeholders, invited guests, and supporters.
The organisers said the award was in recognition of Dr. Fagbemi’s contributions to the growth and development of the entertainment industry.
They also commended his continued support for initiatives aimed at empowering young people through creative and artistic platforms.
Following the presentation of the award, Dr. Fagbemi announced a financial donation to the association to support its programmes and activities.
