Odidi-Omo, Arole Iba, Bose Adedibu, Mogbonjubola Jagaban, Adepoju, Fijabi, Other Dignitaries Storm Ibadan South West As Makinde Commissions New Chairman’s Office

The Secretariat of Ibadan South West Local Government was filled to capacity on Wednesday as Governor Seyi Makinde commissioned the newly built Executive Chairman’s Office, in the presence of top political leaders and stakeholders.

The edifice was commissioned on behalf of the Governor by the Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Honourable Mojeed Mogbonjubola, who described the office as extraordinary and a reflection of the Makinde administration’s commitment to strengthening governance at the grassroots.

The event attracted a large gathering of dignitaries from across the state.

Leading the delegation was the member representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Dhikirulai Adedeji Olajide, popularly known as Odidi-Omo, who stormed the venue with his full entourage.

Also present were Arole Iba, Bode Adedibu, and Jagaban, whose attendance added glamour and political significance to the occasion.

Dignitaries at the commissioning includes, Executive Chairman of Ibadan North West Local Goverment , Hon. Ramoni Adepoju , Alhaji Tajudeen Aleshinloye, Alhaja Bose Adedibu, Pastor Biodun Popoola, Executive Adviser to the Governor on Intra-Party Affairs, Honourable Abiodun Baruwa, Honourable Yusuf Adebisi, Honourable Olakunle Akinshete, Honourable Abiola Ayorinde, Honourable Abiodun Ekolo, Honourable Moruf Balogun, Honourable Kunle Folarin, Hon. Adisa Adeyinka and Honourable Babatunde George Ige, BGI.

In his welcome address, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande, appreciated Governor Makinde and all stakeholders for their support. He explained that the construction of the new chairman’s office was aimed at providing a modern and befitting workspace that will enhance efficiency and service delivery.

The Vice Chairman of the council, Honourable Tajudeen Adigun, ATU, also appreciated everyone who attended the event. He noted that the project will bring governance closer to the people and improve the working environment of council officials.

The Head of Local Government Administration, HLGA, Alhaji Olagunju, led other career officers of the council to the venue.

Residents and party supporters who witnessed the commissioning hailed the new office, describing it as a positive step toward improving governance in Ibadan South West Local Government.
