The Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, officially presented land allocation documents in the name of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ona-Ara Local Government Chapter, and the Federation of Muslim Women Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Ona-Ara Local Government Chapter, in a landmark event that further demonstrated his administration’s commitment to religious harmony, inclusiveness, and community development.
The ceremony attracted religious leaders, government officials, political associates, community stakeholders, and supporters, all of whom commended the Chairman for promoting peaceful coexistence and religious harmony in Ona-Ara Local Government.
The FOMWAN delegation was led by the Amirah of FOMWAN, Ona-Ara Local Government Chapter, Alhaja Ahmed Bolomode Khadijat “Repete,” who expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman for the historic gesture.
Speaking on behalf of FOMWAN, she described the occasion as another testament to the cordial and productive relationship between FOMWAN and CAN, noting that both organizations have continued to work together to promote peace, unity, religious tolerance, and community development.

She sincerely appreciated the Executive Chairman, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, for his warm reception and generous support for both faith-based organizations.
She further noted that, since assuming office, the Chairman has demonstrated commitment, dedication, fairness, and a genuine passion for serving the people. She prayed that Almighty God would continue to strengthen him, grant him greater wisdom, and elevate him to higher positions of responsibility.
Alhaja Ahmed Bolomope Khadijat also prayed for the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, asking God to continue to guide him, increase him in wisdom and strength, and lift him to greater heights in his service to Oyo State and Nigeria.
Responding on behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ona-Ara Local Government Chapter, Pastor Gbenga O. Olatunji, JP, thanked the Executive Chairman for his responsiveness and commitment to the welfare of the people.
He disclosed that it had been exactly one month since CAN submitted its request for land allocation. According to him, similar requests had been made over the years without receiving any definite response.
However, under the leadership of Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, the request received prompt approval, demonstrating that the present administration is responsive to the needs of the people.
He prayed that God would continue to bless, strengthen, and guide the Chairman as he continues to provide purposeful leadership for Ona-Ara Local Government.
He also prayed for lasting peace, unity, and harmony between the Muslim community, represented by FOMWAN, and the Christian community, represented by CAN, stressing that their mutual respect and cooperation would continue to foster peaceful coexistence and sustainable development.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has continued to support his administration.

The Chairman also appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership, unwavering support, and commitment to the development of Oyo State.
The event concluded with a closing prayer offered by the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Isiaka Arina Ola, who prayed for God’s continued guidance upon the Chairman, lasting peace among religious organizations, and sustained progress for Ona-Ara Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria.
