Hon. Abidoun Oni Okunrin Jeje (Asiko), the APM candidate for Old Irepo, visited Oorelope Local Government on July 1st and 2nd, 2026.

During his thank-you visit to Oorelope Local Government in Igboho, Oyo State, Hon. Abidoun Oni interacted with various stakeholders, including local vendors and community groups.

Many self-employed individuals expressed gratitude for the numerous empowerment programs Hon. Abidoun initiated before his campaign for the House of Representatives, underscoring the kind of representation the federal constituency requires in Abuja.

Hon. Abidoun Oni donated over a million naira to various organizations and contributed five motorized boreholes to the Oorelope Community.

He emphasized that this visit signifies the start of his dedication to the community, as he aims to show appreciation while focusing on the community’s needs for growth.

Alhaji Hon. Oyelowo Safariyu, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), called on the public to support the APM in the upcoming general election. He urged voters to endorse His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential bid, alongside senatorial candidate Hon. Shina Abiola Peller, House of Representatives candidate Hon. Abidoun Oni Asiko, and state assembly candidate Hon. Jimoh Olabisi Adisa (JAO).

All candidates are running under the Allied People’s Movement (APM) banner, and party members are encouraged to cast their votes for the APM team, reinforcing Governor Seyi Makinde’s significant role as both a leading candidate and presidential aspirant.

In a short interview, a representative from the Nigeria Union of Barbers and Hairdressers in Oorelope Local Government expressed their strong support for Hon. Abidoun Oni and other APM candidates, noting the lack of empowerment they have received from politicians despite their considerable numbers in Oorelope.

Hon. Abidoun Oni was accompanied by notable figures including Hon. Ogundiran Jacob Oluwale, Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local Government; Hon. Quseem Olayanju, Executive Chairman of Olorunsogo Local Government; Alhaji Hon. Oladoja Yakubu; Alhaji Hon. Yusuf Sarafadeen Alani Alwjud; Hon. Yusuf Adekunle; Alhaji Muritala Adeladan; Hon. Lukuman Olawale Balogun; and Alhaji Hon. Azeez Adeoti, among others.
