I am super excited to celebrate the six women who now carry our party’s flag. I had also hoped and prayed to see more women on this ticket. In my walk with God, I have learned to trust His timing. When He says no, it is for our good. Like a parent who knows the right time to give a child what they need, He sees the full picture we cannot yet see. So we keep the faith alive and we never give up.

I thank the leaders and the system that made this opening possible. Their emergence is progress we must guard.

To our candidates, remember that the ticket is a step. Earning the people’s trust is the work. “Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.” William Shakespeare, Measure for Measure. Let your attitude, your compassion, and your humility speak for you. Go to your fellow contestants with respect. Make everyone feel valued and included. When people have a place at the table, victory becomes a shared story.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu remains very passionate about the Tinubu torch bearer project, and she expects every one of us to carry it with conviction. My appeal to all APC members is simple. Embrace this project. Tell our story. Let our people know the achievements of President Tinubu. When we speak with one voice and with facts, we give our party the advantage it deserves.

You have my full support. Lead in a way that unites us. I am proud of every woman who stood and won. I am also confident that our sisters who did not emerge will remain vital to this journey, because our commitment to the 35 percent affirmation for women stands firm.
