𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐊𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐮 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐣𝐢 celebrates Commissioner Wasilat Adegoke at Birthday, Hails Her Service to Oyo Youths and Lanlate Community

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) consensus candidate for the House of Representatives, Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA), has congratulated the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a worthy ambassador of Lanlate and an inspiration to young people across Oyo State.

In a congratulatory message issued on Friday, KSA praised the commissioner for her dedication to youth development, sports advancement and public service, noting that her appointment as one of the youngest commissioners in the state reflects the confidence reposed in young leaders by Governor Seyi Makinde.

According to him, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke has continued to justify that confidence through her commitment to empowering young people and promoting sports development across Oyo State.

“As a daughter of Lanlate, one of the major towns in Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke has become a source of pride to our people. Her achievements in public office continue to inspire many young men and women who aspire to leadership and service,” KSA stated.

The House of Representatives hopeful noted that her rise in politics and governance further demonstrates the growing role of youths in leadership, adding that her success story aligns with the aspirations of a new generation of leaders determined to contribute meaningfully to society.

KSA, who also belongs to the younger generation of political leaders in Oyo State, said the commissioner’s commitment to youth-focused programmes and sports development resonates with his own vision of empowering young people, creating opportunities, and promoting inclusive governance within Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.

He emphasized that Lanlate remains an important component of the constituency and expressed delight that the town continues to produce individuals making significant contributions at the state level.

“Hon. Wasilat Adegoke represents the resilience, intelligence and leadership capacity that abound in Lanlate and the entire Ibarapa East. Her achievements encourage our young people to believe that public service is a platform for positive change,” he added.

Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji prayed for greater wisdom, sound health and continued success for the commissioner as she marks another year, expressing confidence that she will continue to make meaningful contributions to youth and sports development in Oyo State.
