Street-focused NGO, Street Circle Foundation, has felicitated the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as an “outstanding contributor to the youth sector” in the state.
In a statement signed by the Foundation’s Executive Director on Friday, Street Circle Foundation, Bashorun Saintabey said the Commissioner’s vision and commitment have created new opportunities for young people across Oyo’s 33 local government areas.
“Today we celebrate a leader who truly understands young people. Honourable Commissioner has been an outstanding contributor to the youth sector through skills development, sports engagement, and inclusive policies,” the statement read.
The Foundation highlighted key areas where the Commissioner’s work has made an impact, including youth entrepreneurship programs, grassroots sports development, and platforms that amplify young voices in governance.
“From supporting talent discovery in sports to creating avenues for youth participation in policy, her tenure is already leaving a mark on the next generation of Oyo leaders,” it added.
Street Circle Foundation, known for its work on youth empowerment, civic engagement, and community development, prayed for more wisdom, strength, and good health for the Commissioner as she continues to serve.
“As she marks another year, we wish her more impact, more wins for Oyo youth, and greater strides in building a state where young people can thrive,” the group said.
Party stakeholders, sports administrators, and youth leaders across the state have also joined in sending birthday goodwill messages to the Commissioner.
