Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has joined well-wishers in celebrating Mr. Popoola Hassan on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, by his spokesperson, Hassan Adesodi Olaoniye, Hon. Adepoju described Mr. Popoola as a committed community man whose heart and mind are purely devoted to development.
According to the federal lawmaker, Nigeria needs to produce more individuals like Mr. Popoola, whose sense of judgment on national issues is not driven by partisan politics but by what is right and just.
The lawmaker disclosed that he had watched the Kishi-born compatriot closely and had come to the realisation that he is a man of integrity, courage and uncommon patriotism, whose interventions on critical national matters are always guided by sincerity, fairness and a genuine commitment to the progress, stability and unity of Nigeria.
He added that an individual with such a strong independent mind deserves recognition and support for his contributions to nation-building.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character also used the occasion to appreciate Mr. Popoola’s support for his representation and for using his platform to promote good governance.
He noted that the celebrant not only commends his legislative accomplishments and successes always but also offers valuable suggestions and draws his attention to important national issues.
The Ibarapa-born lawmaker urged the celebrant to continue doing what he knows how to do best, noting that society is watching, while praying that God grants him good health, longevity and remarkable accomplishments in all his endeavours.
