The women leaders of Akinyele Local Government paid a solidarity and appreciation visit to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, at his office, where they commended his administration for its remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to the welfare of women across the council area.

Speaking during the visit, the Akinyele Local Government Woman Leader, Mrs. Olabode Oluwakemi Stella, lauded the Chairman for placing women at the forefront of his developmental agenda. “Your administration has given women a sense of belonging and has demonstrated genuine commitment to our growth and empowerment.

We are here today to appreciate your extraordinary performance and to openly declare our support for your second term ambition. Anyone working against your government is certainly not working for the progress of Akinyele Local Government because the achievements recorded under your leadership are visible and unprecedented,” she stated.

In the same vein, the Ward 5 Woman Leader, Mrs. Aina Sandy, reaffirmed the total loyalty and support of women across the twelve wards of Akinyele Local Government to the leadership of Hon. Akinwole Akinleye. “Wherever our Chairman goes, the women of Akinyele are ready to follow because we believe in his vision and leadership. Women from Ward One to Ward Twelve are solidly behind him and support the continuity of his administration through a second term ambition.

We are already working towards organizing a massive women’s rally across the Local Government to publicly demonstrate our support and commitment to the success of his political aspirations,” she declared.

Similarly, the Ward 8 Woman Leader, Mrs. Bola Oyelami, echoed the collective position of the womenfolk, describing the Executive Chairman’s leadership as one that has brought stability, development, and happiness to the people of Akinyele Local Government.

Responding to the overwhelming show of support, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, expressed profound appreciation to the women leaders for their steadfast loyalty and encouragement since the inception of his administration.

“I sincerely appreciate this visit and your unwavering support over the years. Your encouragement strengthens our resolve to continue delivering quality governance to our people.

I will not relent in replicating the people oriented leadership and developmental strides of my principal, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, here in Akinyele Local Government. The welfare of women, youths, and all residents will continue to remain a top priority under our administration,” he said.

Hon. Akinwole Akinleye further charged the women to remain active ambassadors of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. “There is no doubt that the tremendous achievements of Governor Seyi Makinde, which have also been replicated across our Local Government, have strengthened the confidence of our people in his outstanding leadership.

I urge you to continue propagating the gospel of the APM and its candidates in every nook and cranny of Akinyele Local Government. Let us work together to secure victory for our party in the forthcoming elections,” he stated.

The visit concluded with special prayers led by the Ward 1 Woman Leader for the continued success, wisdom, and protection of the Executive Chairman and his team, while the women leaders unanimously pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts to ensure electoral victory for the party and its candidates in the upcoming general elections.
