Birthday: You’re A Man of Substance! IBSWLG Chairman, Hon. Akande Celebrates Oyo ALGON Chairman, Sikiru Sanda

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande, has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter, Hon. Sikiru Sanda Lajue, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Hon. Akande described Hon. Sanda as a selfless leader and a man of substance whose calm personality, responsiveness, thoughtfulness, and creativity have distinguished him in public service.

“Hon. Sikiru Sanda is more than a colleague in local government administration. He is a bridge-builder, a complex thinker, and a leader firmly committed to physical growth and development,” Akande stated.

Hon. Akande noted that as Oyo ALGON Chairman, Hon. Sanda has patriotically ensured that Governor Seyi Makinde’s roadmap for accelerated development is not confined to Egbeda Local Government alone but is driven across all 33 local governments in Oyo State. “His coordination and leadership at ALGON have strengthened unity among council chairmen and brought measurable progress to grassroots governance,” he added.

Describing him as an enigmatic leader with unassailable leadership qualities, Hon. Akande said Hon. Sanda’s life remains a study in dedication, loyalty, and results. “The immeasurable virtues and strong contents of character embedded in Hon. Sikiru Sanda are what announce the real achiever. He leads with clarity and serves with humility,” Akande noted.

“On behalf of the government and good people of Ibadan South West Local Government, I celebrate a brother, a friend, and a dependable ally. As you mark another year today, I pray that the light of God’s love shines upon you. May His angels guide your steps and guard your path,” Akande said.

Hon. Kehinde Akande concluded by praying for Hon. Sanda’s continued success. “I heartily congratulate you on your birthday and pray that Almighty God blesses you with many more years in good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for the benefit of Oyo State.”
