The Chairman, Governing Council, African Institute for Justices of the Peace, Dr. Akande Kazeem Babatunde, mni, has congratulated the newly appointed Head of Service of Oyo State, Dr. Adenike Ayobami Fasina, mni, describing her appointment as a “round peg in a round hole.”
Dr. Akande noted that Dr. Fasina’s vast administrative experience, integrity, diligence, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have distinguished her throughout her career in the public service, making her eminently qualified for the position.
According to him, the appointment is a testament to her outstanding dedication to public service, exemplary leadership qualities, and unwavering commitment to good governance. He expressed confidence that her wealth of experience and proven competence would further strengthen the Oyo State Civil Service and enhance effective service delivery across the state.
“As a distinguished member of the National Institute (mni), her elevation brings pride not only to her family and colleagues but also to the wider community of professionals committed to national development and public sector transformation,” he stated.
Dr. Akande also expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for finding Dr. Fasina worthy of the prestigious office. He noted that the appointment reflects the Governor’s commitment to merit, competence, professionalism, and excellence in public administration.
He further stated that the Oyo State Civil Service is poised to witness greater efficiency, innovation, and productivity under Dr. Fasina’s leadership, especially at a time when visionary and result-oriented leadership is required to advance the developmental aspirations of the state.
On behalf of himself and his associates, Dr. Akande prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, good health, and outstanding success for the new Head of Service as she assumes the responsibility of leading the Oyo State Civil Service to greater heights.
