HON. OLUFUNKE COMFORTER EMERGES APM CONSENSUS CANDIDATE FOR IBADAN NORTH CONSTITUENCY I

The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency1 and the committee chairman for women Affairs and Social development,Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniji Olajide has emerged as the consensus candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for Ibadan North Constituency I ahead of the forthcoming 2027 election.

According to a statement made available to journalists by her media team,the consensus election was witnessed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and held at the party’s meeting point in Yemetu, Ibadan.

Party leaders, stakeholders and members present at the exercise expressed confidence in the leadership qualities and political capacity of Hon. Comforter, describing her emergence as a reflection of unity and collective agreement within the party.

Speaking after the exercise, party members noted that the consensus arrangement was peaceful, transparent and conducted in line with democratic principles and the guidelines of the party.

The emergence of Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniji Olajide is expected to further strengthen the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Ibadan North Constituency I as preparations intensify for the forthcoming polls.

The event also witnessed the presence of party faithful and supporters who applauded the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
