The Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Surveyor Dasola Adefabi Fadiran, has called for unity, compassion, and collective prayers as Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha.

In his Eid message, Adefabi noted that while the season symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, and faith, it also comes at a deeply troubling time following the abduction incident involving residents of Oriire.
He expressed heartfelt sympathy to the affected families and urged security agencies to intensify efforts toward securing the safe and immediate release of the victims.

“This is a moment for reflection and responsibility. As we celebrate, we must not forget our brothers and sisters in distress. I call on all well-meaning citizens to unite in prayers and support for the victims and their families,” he stated.

Adefabi emphasized that the true essence of Eid lies in love, sacrifice, and solidarity, urging leaders and citizens alike to prioritize peace, security, and the welfare of the people.

He further called for stronger community vigilance and cooperation with security authorities to prevent future occurrences.

“May this sacred season strengthen our unity, renew our hope, and bring divine intervention to all those in captivity,” he added.

He concluded by wishing Muslim faithful a peaceful Eid celebration while urging sustained prayers for the safe return of the abducted victims.
