The Honourable Member representing Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Oyeshina Najimdeen Oyedeji, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the constituency on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Hon. Oyeshina congratulated Muslims on witnessing yet another sacred festival, describing Eid-el-Kabir as a period of sacrifice, devotion, love and gratitude to Almighty Allah for His endless mercy upon mankind.
The federal lawmaker urged Muslims to use the celebration to pray for peace, unity and progress in the country, while also extending love and support to one another, especially the less privileged in society.
He equally offered prayers for the safe return of the abducted school children and others reportedly kidnapped in Oriire Local Government Area, praying that Almighty Allah grants them quick and safe reunification with their families. He also prayed for strength and comfort for the affected families during this difficult period.
Hon. Oyeshina further called for prayers concerning the current security challenges facing Nigeria, noting that the safety of lives and property remains a collective concern for all citizens. He prayed that Allah continues to guide the nation’s leaders with wisdom and understanding in providing adequate security and protection for the people.
He finally urged residents, particularly Muslim faithful, to remain security conscious throughout the festive period and to promptly report any suspicious movement or unusual activity within their communities to the appropriate authorities.
He wished all Muslims a peaceful, joyful and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
