Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful and to the good people of Oyo State.
The lesson of Ileya is that the Lord God Almighty intervened for His prophet Ibrahim at the very moment he was about to sacrifice his only son—the son he received after many years of barrenness. This reminds us that no situation is beyond God’s reach. Where there is hopelessness, He can bring hope. Where there is helplessness, He can bring help.
As the State Woman Leader for the APC in Oyo State, I greet all Muslim faithful and encourage every indigene of Oyo State not to give up. Let us continue to cry out to God for help, for redemption, and for Him to speedily send a rescuer to us at this critical moment in our history.
Now more than ever, we must shun evil, embrace righteousness and godly living, and turn away from all wrongdoing. I urge us all to operate in unity, praying for one another.
I pray that Allah accepts our acts of worship and that Oyo State shall become a praise in the land. May the Lord restore the old peaceful days to our state.
