The governorship aspiration of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi under the platform of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) received a major political and moral boost as the leadership and executive members of the influential socio-cultural association, Ajorosun Club, paid him a strategic courtesy visit at his private office in Ibadan.

The high-level visit, which brought together elders, stakeholders, and prominent leaders of the association, turned into a moment of solidarity, appreciation, and political alignment as the group openly pledged its unwavering support and loyalty to Adekanmbi’s gubernatorial ambition ahead of the 2027 political season.

The delegation described Hon. Adekanmbi as a bridge-builder, grassroots mobilizer, and a committed progressive whose contributions to the growth and unity of Ajorosun Club have remained remarkable long before the current political permutations began.

According to the leaders of the association, the visit was not only to appreciate his years of consistent support for the club but also to publicly identify with his vision for a greater and more prosperous Oyo State.

Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi expressed deep appreciation to the association for the visit and for sustaining the enduring legacy of his late father, Pa Adekanmbi, who was revered as one of the founding fathers and respected leaders of the prestigious club.

Adekanmbi, who is also a proud member of the association, assured the delegation of his continuous commitment to the ideals of unity, development, and collective progress championed by Ajorosun Club.

“I will always remain connected to the values and vision of Ajorosun Club. This association is family to me, and I deeply appreciate this overwhelming show of love, solidarity, and support. Together, we will continue to work for the development of our people and the progress of Oyo State,” he stated.

The atmosphere during the visit was filled with excitement, optimism, and renewed confidence as members of the association took turns to commend Adekanmbi’s leadership qualities, political experience, and accessibility to the grassroots.

Political observers have described the development as another strong indication of the growing momentum behind Adekanmbi’s emergence as a major contender in the evolving political landscape of Oyo State, especially within the coalition movement being championed by Governor Seyi Makinde.

The visit concluded with prayers for wisdom, strength, and success for Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi as consultations and political engagements ahead of the 2027 governorship race continue to gather momentum across the state.
