In a ceremony held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on October 4, 2025, Hon. Rafiu Omotosho, also known as Omor, officially picked up the nomination form from the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) to contest for the Ido State Assembly Constituency in the upcoming 2027 elections.


Speaking at the event, Omotosho pledged to prioritize purposeful representation and champion grassroots-driven development. He emphasized the importance of listening to the voices of the constituents and addressing their needs effectively.
“I am committed to creating opportunities that will uplift our community and enhance the quality of life for all residents,” he stated, highlighting his vision for inclusive governance and sustainable development.

Omotosho expressed gratitude to his supporters and urged them to rally behind his campaign as he seeks to bring tangible change to the Ido constituency.


He outlined plans to engage with various stakeholders in the community to identify key issues and collaboratively develop strategies for progress.
