As Nigerian workers mark the International Workers Day, the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige has felicitated all workers most especially in Oyo state and Local Government Staff Pension Board and charged them to be more committed and dedicated in the discharge of their duties.
In his congratulatory message to workers, the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige hailed them for their loyalty, commitment, sacrifice and dedication to duties.Describing workers as the engine room of good governance, invaluable driving force and inevitable elements in achieving meaning sustainable development in the state and nation at large.
Hon Ige acknowledged their diligence , tenacity, resilience , loyalty to the present administration in the state under the leadership of His Excellency , Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde which contributed to the achievements recorded so far in all sectors in the pacesetter state.
“On behalf of the Permanent Secretary, LGSPB, TPL Olufemi Akinwale and the management of the Board, I salute all workers and pensioners on the year 2026 International Workers Day celebration and I pray that you will all celebrate many more of it. I appreciate your steadfastness, sacrifice, dedication and commitment to nation building “, he said.
The Chairman therefore applauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration for prioritizing workers and pensioners welfare . He then urged all workers and pensioners to continue to support and cooperate with the present government in the state.
He therefore promised to ensure that workers and pensioners welfare policies and initiatives of Governor Seyi Makinde are implemented effectively.
He wished workers a fulfilling May Day celebration
