FIBSA National Hails Hon. Akorede Lateef Over Donation of Educational Materials to Ibarapa Students

The Federation of Ibarapa Students’ Association, FIBSA National, has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lateef Adebare Lawal Akorede, for donating educational support materials to primary school pupils in the council area.

The items, which include writing materials, school bags, water bottles, and packs of noodles, were received by FIBSA National through the Office of the Supervisory Councillor for Education, Hon. Agbeje Simisoluwa.

According to the student body, the materials are scheduled for distribution to selected primary schools across Ibarapa North on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026.

In a statement issued on Thursday, FIBSA National described the intervention as a clear demonstration of the council’s commitment to academic growth and pupil welfare. “This gesture by Ibarapa North Local Government under Hon. Lateef Akorede will significantly enhance learning conditions and contribute to improved educational outcomes,” the statement read.

The association, under the leadership of its National President, Aarẹ Abass Adesola Olaniyan, expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Chairman for his continued commitment to advancing education and empowering the student community.

FIBSA also lauded Hon. Agbeje Simisoluwa, Supervisory Councillor for Education, for his dedication and proactive support in facilitating the donation. “His consistent delivery in office continues to yield direct impact on our pupils,” FIBSA noted.

The student body reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the welfare and development of students across Ibarapa, from primary schools to tertiary institutions. It added that efforts are underway to ensure similar interventions are extended to other local governments in the region.

“We look forward to continued collaboration with stakeholders as we build a brighter future for our community,” the statement concluded.

FIBSA National is the apex student body representing Ibarapa students at home and in the diaspora.
