The 33 Secretaries to the local government in Oyo State has reaffirmed its unwavering support for Governor Seyi Makinde, declaring that the people of the state remain solidly behind his administration and vision for sustainable development.

Speaking to journalists at the solidarity rally, the forum praised Governor Makinde’s commitment to good governance, infrastructural development, workers’ welfare, and policies aimed at improving the lives of residents across the state.

According to the forum, members from various local government councils met to review the progress of the current administration and expressed satisfaction with the governor’s performance since assuming office.

They noted that Governor Makinde’s leadership has continued to inspire confidence among grassroots stakeholders, stressing that continuity of people-oriented policies remains vital to the growth and prosperity of Oyo State.

The forum also disclosed that the solidarity rally staged by the member was from the front of the Government House Secretariat to the residence of the governor which demonstrate their appreciation for his achievements and to encourage him to remain focused on delivering quality governance to the people.

The secretaries called on all political actors and residents to remain united and continue supporting the administration’s developmental agenda, emphasizing that collective cooperation is necessary for greater progress.

They concluded by expressing confidence that Oyo State would witness even more transformation under Governor Makinde’s leadership, describing him as the preferred choice of the people.
