BREAKING: Kamar Oyetunji Yusuff Emerges PDP Consensus Candidate for Ogbomoso North State Constituency

Hon. Kamar Oyetunji Yusuff has emerged as the consensus candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Ogbomoso North State Constituency, following a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held this evening in Ogbomoso.

The meeting, convened by the Co-Chairman of the Oyo State Elders’ Council and Balogun of Ogbomosoland, Dr Saka Adegbite Balogun, brought together key party leaders and influential stakeholders across the constituency. The gathering, held at his residence, underscored the party’s commitment to unity and strategic alignment ahead of the forthcoming political contest.

In what participants described as a unanimous and well-considered decision, party leaders agreed to adopt Hon. Yusuff as the consensus candidate, citing his proven track record, unwavering commitment, and longstanding dedication to the growth and stability of the PDP in Ogbomoso North Local Government.

Stakeholders present at the meeting include Dr Saka Adegbite Balogun, Alhaji Rasaq Kareem Gbadegesin, Hon. George Ogunlade, Hon. Sunday Bankole, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle, Jide Oketunbi, Hon. Kabir Akanji Ayoade, Engr. Abu Salami, Hon. Lanre Oladeji, Hon. Jimoh Sikiru, Elder Amos Ayoola Ajibesin, among others.

The stakeholders unanimously resolved to work collectively toward the success of Hon. Kamar Oyetunji Yusuff and all Peoples Democratic Party candidates under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, reaffirming their loyalty and commitment to the party’s vision and continued progress in Oyo State.

Kamar appreciated the stakeholders and leaders of the Party for their support for his candidacy. He promised to continue to put the Party first and the welfare of the Party members paramount.
