The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North-East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (O mu Yes) has congratulated the ASEYORI GROUP on their victory in the just-concluded election of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Ibadan North-East chapter which took place today 2nd of April, 2026 in the Council Premises.
Hon. Akintayo described the outcome of the election, which saw the ASEYORI GROUP secure all nine elective positions, as a reflection of the choice made by members of the union.
The Chairman commended all staff members for their orderly conduct, maturity and peaceful participation throughout the electoral process, which ensured a successful and credible exercise.
He also extended his appreciation to the NULGE executives at the state level, security agencies, and all stakeholders who contributed to the smooth conduct of the election.
The Council Boss further acknowledged the efforts of all participants, including contestants and supporters, for conducting themselves in a manner that upheld the peace and integrity of the local government.
