The State Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Dr. Adekemi Felicia Opatunde, alongside her Deputy, paid a strategic courtesy visit to Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, at his office within the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
The visit provided an opportunity to appreciate the Senator’s consistent support for party development and his longstanding commitment to advancing the participation and visibility of women within the APC structure across the state.
During the meeting, the State Woman Leader briefed the Distinguished Senator on the programmes, priorities, and timelines of the APC Women’s Wing in Oyo State.
She emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration with party leaders and stakeholders in strengthening grassroots mobilization, reconciliation efforts, and strategic engagement of women across the 33 local government areas. She also formally sought his continued support toward the successful implementation of these initiatives.
In his response, Senator Alli warmly received the delegation, commended the proactive leadership of the State Woman Leader and her Deputy, and lauded the direction and structure of the planned activities of the Women’s Wing.
He reaffirmed his unwavering support for the APC women in Oyo State and pledged his readiness to partner with them in advancing inclusive participation and strengthening the party’s unity and progress ahead of upcoming political engagements.
