Oyo Lawmaker Mabaje Commends Makinde’s ₦10,000 Transport Allowance for Civil Servants

Hon. Razaq Mabaje, the lawmaker representing Ido State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for approving a ₦10,000 monthly transportation allowance for civil servants in Oyo State.

The initiative comes in response to the recent hike in fuel prices and is aimed at easing the financial burden on workers.

The support package is expected to run for an initial period of three months.

Mabaje described the intervention as a clear demonstration of the governor’s commitment to responsive and people-centered governance.

He noted that the allowance would not only provide relief to civil servants but also help boost morale, improve productivity, and enhance service delivery across the public sector.

He further emphasized that the decision is both timely and considerate, given the economic pressures currently faced by workers due to rising transportation costs.
