Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada and the lawmaker representing Atisbo/Saki East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for approving a ₦10,000 transport support package for workers across the state.

Gbadamosi, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Health, described the initiative as a thoughtful and timely intervention aimed at cushioning the impact of rising transportation costs on workers, particularly in the face of prevailing economic realities.
According to the lawmaker, the transport support scheme reflects a clear demonstration of Governor Makinde’s commitment to responsive and people-oriented governance. He noted that the policy would not only ease the financial burden on civil servants but also boost morale, enhance productivity, and improve overall service delivery within the public sector.

“This compassionate gesture is a testament to the governor’s deep understanding of the challenges faced by workers. It shows a leadership that listens, cares, and takes decisive action to improve the welfare of its people,” Gbadamosi stated.

He further emphasized that the initiative aligns with the broader vision of the Makinde administration to implement sustainable policies that directly impact the lives of citizens, promote social welfare, and stimulate economic stability at the grassroots level.
While expressing confidence in the current administration, Hon. Gbadamosi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting legislative frameworks and policies that prioritize the well-being of the people and foster inclusive development across Oyo State.

He also urged residents to continue supporting government initiatives and remain optimistic about the ongoing efforts to build a more resilient and prosperous state.
