Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, Honourable Commissioner for the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadan fast as directed by the appropriate religious authorities. She described the season as a time of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the values of compassion, discipline, and obedience to the will of Almighty Allah.

The Commissioner commended the Muslim Ummah for their steadfast devotion, prayers, and peaceful conduct throughout the holy month, noting that such virtues are essential for fostering unity, tolerance, and social harmony in society. She urged adherents to sustain the lessons of Ramadan by continuing to promote love, charity, and mutual respect among all citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
Hon. Balogun also reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of Seyi Makinde to inclusive governance, gender equity, and the welfare of vulnerable groups across the state. She called on residents to use the festive period to pray for lasting peace, progress, and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria at large, while celebrating responsibly and extending kindness to the less privileged.
