As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, Adeolu Akande, former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission and a prominent senatorial aspirant for Oyo North, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful.

In his message, Prof. Akande congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and devotion.
He commended the discipline and commitment demonstrated throughout the holy month.

He urged residents to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan—such as love, patience, tolerance, generosity, and peaceful coexistence—stressing that these values are vital for community development and national unity.

Prof. Akande further called on citizens to remain law-abiding and work collectively toward peace and progress in Oyo North and beyond.
He emphasized the need for continued harmony among people of different faiths and backgrounds.

He concluded by wishing Muslims a joyous Eid celebration filled with peace, happiness, and abundant blessings, while praying for sustained unity and prosperity in Nigeria.
