Hon. Jacob Oluwale Ogundiran, the Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local Government, has conveyed his warm regards to loyal Muslims within the Local Council Area, both locally and abroad, on the successful conclusion of Ramadan, as observed by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).

In his message, Hon. Jacob remarked, “As we wrap up the blessed month of Ramadan, we come together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a time filled with happiness, reflection, and thankfulness. This holy occasion signifies the end of our month-long practice of fasting, prayer, and spiritual enhancement. It is a chance to express our sincere gratitude to Allah for the strength and determination He has provided us, enabling us to fulfill our duties and deepen our faith.”
I extend my congratulations to the Muslim community in Oorelope, Oyo State, and across Nigeria as we wrap up the 30-day Ramadan fast, celebrating this year’s Eid El-Fitr, known as the ‘festival of breaking the fast.’

Eid El-Fitr is a time of happiness that symbolizes gratitude, togetherness, and renewal. It serves as an opportunity to strengthen our prayers for peace in our local government, state, and the entire country.

The fast we have just completed is meant to cultivate patience, self-discipline, empathy, spiritual awareness, and a deeper relationship with God.
To enhance Oorelope Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole, we must come together. We share a collective duty to support one another and strive for a brighter future for our state and nation.

Ogundiran also prayed for a peaceful Eid celebration, wishing for continued blessings of good health, peace, and a prosperous economy in the future.

Ogundiran also encouraged them to stay vigilant and careful during the celebrations, advising them to remain aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious behavior or activity to the proper security authorities.
Let us take forward the lessons learned during Ramadan, embodying the principles of kindness, empathy, and generosity towards others.
On this festive day, may we appreciate the significance of community and family as Eid al-Fitr inspires us to unite and share in the blessings of this special occasion.
As we break our fast and enjoy celebratory meals, let us also remember those who are less fortunate, reaching out with generosity and support.
May the essence of Eid bring love and peace to our hearts, and may Allah accept our prayers and good deeds throughout this sacred month. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed Eid al-Fitr!
