The 9th Ramadan Lecture of Omituntun Ibadan South West Local Government took place at UMC Primary School, Molete, Ibadan, with the theme “PERSEVERANCE”. Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), attended the event and donated cash to the Muslim community. Adeniran, who is eyeing the Oyo State governorship in 2027, emphasized the importance of perseverance, aligning with the lecture’s theme.

The event was also attended by Ibadan South West Local Government Chairman, Honourable Kehinde Akande, Executive Chairman Ibadan North West, Honourable Rahmon Adepoju; Honourable Kunle Busari, Honourable Abiodun Baruwa, Leader of Legislative Arm in Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Adelodun, other councillors, Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants, and Alhaji Dawud Alawiye, the Chief Imam of New Garage, who was the guest speaker.

Adeniran has declared his intention to contest the governorship of Oyo State in 2027, pledging to sustain Governor Seyi Makinde’s Omituntun legacy.
