Dr Akande Kazeem mni congratulates Prof Ayo Omotayo on his Reappointment as DG NIPSS by President Bola Tinubu GCFR

I warmly congratulate Professor Ayo Omotayo on his reappointment as Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

This reappointment is a well-deserved recognition of a scholar and leader who has brought both intellectual excellence and administrative distinction to one of Nigeria’s most important institutions. Professor Omotayo’s tenure at NIPSS has been defined by a commitment to the highest standards, a rigorous approach to policy thinking, and a sustained effort to position the Institute as a credible centre of excellence for strategic leadership development in Africa.

What stands out about his contributions is not just the quality of his leadership but the academic and intellectual culture he has nurtured within the Institute, contribution to infrastructural development, key Innovations for National Development, Contribution to Capacity-Building and Human Resource Development, consolidation to support NIPSS Mandate and, other contributions to National Development (including consolidation of democracy, peace-building initiatives, anti-corruption drive and collaboration with national and international organisations in the development space).

Under his watch, NIPSS has grown in stature as a body providing strategic and lasting solutions to contemporary governance challenges in the country. His demonstrated excellence and vision in repositioning the Institute as a truly apex institution is outstanding, and it is affirmed by this reappointment.

The confidence that Mr. President has reposed in him for another term is the natural outcome of a record built on competence, integrity, and a genuine investment in the development of strategic leadership for Nigeria.

I wish him continued strength, clarity of purpose, and an even more impactful tenure in the years ahead.
