In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, Hon. Otunba Olusina Ogunshola has extended warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to women across Oluyole Local Government Area, Oyo State, and Nigeria, as well as women around the world.

Hon. Ogunshola acknowledged the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in building strong families, vibrant communities, and a progressive nation. He noted that women continue to demonstrate exceptional courage, leadership, and dedication in every sphere of life, playing critical roles in social development, economic growth, and nation-building.

According to him, the celebration of International Women’s Day serves as an important reminder of the need to continue advocating for gender equality, empowerment, and opportunities that enable women and girls to reach their full potential.

He therefore encouraged all stakeholders—government institutions, community leaders, and citizens—to remain committed to creating a society where every woman and girl can thrive, pursue her dreams, and contribute meaningfully to the development of society.

Hon. Ogunshola concluded by wishing all women a happy and fulfilling International Women’s Day while praying for continued strength, success, and greater achievements for women in Nigeria and beyond.
