In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the lawmaker representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada, will host a special Ramadan lecture aimed at fostering spiritual reflection, unity, and communal harmony.

The programme is scheduled to hold on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the residence of Hon. Gbadamosi, Oke-Taasi, Sepeteri, in Sepeteri, Saki East Local Government Area.
The theme of the Ramadan lecture “Gbigba fún ẹni tí Olóhun gbà fún,” a profound message that emphasizes the virtue of giving to those whom Allah has favoured, encouraging generosity, compassion, and gratitude among believers during the sacred period.

The Chief Host of the programme is Al-Imam Engr. AbdulHakeem Demola Raji, MNSE, MNIEE, R. COREN, the Grand Chief Imam of Sepeteri Land, who will lead other respected Islamic clerics and scholars expected to grace the occasion.


The Chief Lecturer for the programme is Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdur-Rofeeh Muhammed Jamiu Oloko, popularly known as Badru-Saman Atewogba, Alalaye, Sheikh Adam Oke-Ogun, a respected Islamic scholar known for his profound teachings and spiritual guidance.
The gathering is expected to bring together Islamic scholars, traditional and community leaders, political stakeholders, and members of the public for prayers and reflections on the values of sacrifice, charity, peaceful coexistence, and devotion that define the holy month of Ramadan.

The event will also provide an opportunity to offer prayers for sustained peace, unity, and development in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

Members of the Muslim Ummah and the general public are cordially invited to attend and partake in the spiritually uplifting programme.
