As the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent commence, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the good people of Oyo State, urging them to embrace the spiritual significance of the periods with renewed faith, love, and unity.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Bibire described Lent and Ramadan as profound moments of reflection, sacrifice, self-discipline, and compassion.
He noted that although observed by Christians and Muslims respectively, both seasons share common values that promote peace, humility, generosity, and devotion to God.

According to him, these sacred periods offer an opportunity for individuals and communities to rededicate themselves to righteousness, deepen their spiritual commitments, and strengthen bonds of harmony across religious and ethnic lines.

He called on residents of Oyo State to use the seasons to pray fervently for sustained peace, progress, and prosperity in the state and in Nigeria as a whole.
He emphasized that unity remains the greatest strength of Oyo State, and that collective prayers and positive actions will continue to move the state forward.

Hon. Bibire further reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to inclusive governance, religious tolerance, and people-centered development, assuring citizens that the government remains dedicated to policies and programs that uplift every segment of society.

“As we fast, pray, and reflect, let us extend love to our neighbors, support the less privileged, and work together for a more united and prosperous Oyo State,” he stated.
He concluded by wishing all Christian and Muslim faithful a spiritually fulfilling Lenten and Ramadan season, filled with divine blessings, answered prayers, and renewed hope for a greater Oyo State.
