The Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has extended warm greetings to Muslim and Christian faithful as they observe the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent.

In a goodwill message made available to the public, Adeojo congratulated Muslims on the commencement of Ramadan and Christians on the ongoing Lenten season, describing both periods as significant moments of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, discipline, and renewed devotion to God.
He noted that Ramadan and Lent represent important opportunities for adherents of both faiths to deepen their spirituality, promote compassion, and strengthen values that foster peaceful coexistence within communities.

The chairman particularly felicitated Muslim and Christian faithful in Ido Local Government, while also extending his best wishes to residents across Oyo State. He urged them to use the holy seasons to pray for sustained peace, unity, and development in the local government area and the state at large.


Adeojo emphasized the importance of love, tolerance, and mutual understanding among people of different religious backgrounds, stressing that harmony remains essential for grassroots development and collective progress.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and Christians a reflective and rewarding Lenten season.
