Oyo State lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North state constituency, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, has congratulated Hon. Chief Akeem Ademola Ige, popularly known as “Ige Again,” on his birthday, describing him as a grassroots politician with remarkable resilience and staying power.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, Bisi Oluranti praised Ige’s political journey, noting his hallmarks of loyalty, consistency, and enduring relevance in Oyo State politics.
She highlighted his service as former Local Government Chairman, former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, and ex-Special Adviser on Tourism and Culture under Governor Seyi Makinde’s Omituntun 1.0 administration.
While noting that the celebrant currently chairs the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Bisi Oluranti emphasized Ige’s political doggedness and sagacity, stating that his ability to remain a formidable force while staying connected to his grassroots base is rare in contemporary politics.
She added that his loyalty to party structure and the people has earned him respect across party lines.
Describing him as a stabilizing presence and dependable mobilizer in the Omituntun 2.0 administration, she noted that his contributions continue to strengthen governance and deepen grassroots engagement.
Bisi Oluranti however concluded with prayers for his long life and good health, calling him “a wonderful man with a good personality.
